The mayor opened his report by thanking Main Street Mayville for hosting the city’s Annual Holiday Parade. He also expressed appreciation to the many volunteers, businesses, organizations, and residents who contributed time and effort to make the event a success. The parade, Boelk said, was a reminder of how community traditions bring people together during the winter season.
In addition to holiday festivities, Mayor Boelk reflected on the resilience shown by Mayville residents throughout 2025, a year marked by challenges and recovery following the May tornado. He commended city staff, emergency responders, volunteers, and neighbors who supported one another during difficult times and helped move the community forward.
The mayor also acknowledged ongoing city efforts, including budget planning, infrastructure discussions, and public safety initiatives, noting that teamwork and communication remain key priorities as the city prepares for the year ahead.
“As we wrap up the year, I am proud of the way our community continues to come together—whether celebrating, volunteering, or helping one another in times of need,” Boelk said. “That spirit is what makes Mayville such a special place to call home.”
Mayor Boelk encouraged residents to stay engaged in local events and city affairs in the new year, emphasizing that community involvement remains vital to Mayville’s continued growth and success.
