The event welcomed 15 bereaved mothers from across Wisconsin, offering a day of rest, care, and connection in a supportive environment. Participants received spa services designed to provide relaxation and emotional renewal, along with the opportunity to connect with other mothers who understand the unique challenges of loss.
Organizers said the Spa Day is intended to give grieving mothers time to focus on themselves—something that can be difficult during the healing process. Volunteers and local professionals donated time and services to help create a peaceful, uplifting experience centered on empathy and community support.
“Grief can feel incredibly isolating,” said Amanda Hartwig, founder of Bo’s Heavenly Clubhouse. “This day is about reminding mothers that they are seen, supported, and deserving of care.”
Bo’s Heavenly Clubhouse was founded to support families navigating the loss of a child, offering programs and events that foster healing, remembrance, and connection. The Bereaved Mothers’ Spa Day has become one of the organization’s meaningful outreach efforts, reflecting its commitment to meeting families where they are in their grief journey.
Community partners and donors played a key role in making the event possible, contributing services, resources, and encouragement. Organizers expressed gratitude to Beauty Boutique and volunteers for helping create a welcoming space for participants.
Bo’s Heavenly Clubhouse plans to continue hosting supportive events throughout the year and encourages community members to get involved through volunteering, donations, or spreading awareness of bereavement resources.
