Rock River Bierfest Marks a Decade of Community Impact in Mayville

What began a decade ago as a modest gathering has grown into Rotary’s largest and most anticipated fundraiser, drawing community members together for an evening centered on local brews, food, and fellowship. Organizers say the event’s success reflects strong community support and a shared commitment to improving life in Mayville.

Proceeds from Rock River Bierfest help fund a wide range of local improvement projects. Over the years, funds raised have supported amenities such as the city’s kayak launch and storage shed, new pickleball courts and benches, a Main Street music stage, and the recently added community ice rink. Rotary members emphasize that each project is chosen with long-term community benefit in mind.

“This event is about more than just fundraising,” Rotary leaders noted. “It’s about investing back into the community and creating spaces and opportunities for residents of all ages.”

Attendees enjoyed a variety of craft beers, live entertainment, and social activities, while volunteers worked throughout the evening to ensure the event ran smoothly. Rotary officials credited sponsors, volunteers, and attendees for helping the festival reach its 10-year milestone.

With another successful Bierfest in the books, Mayville Rotary leaders say they are already looking ahead to future projects and the next chapter of the event’s legacy.
