New Scholarship Opens Another Opportunity for Kewaskum Graduates

The scholarship is being offered through Kewaskum Youth Scholarships Inc., known as KEYS. The program expands the financial assistance available to graduating seniors as they prepare for college or other educational pathways.

The newspaper’s report highlights Donald and Mary Ellen Schulz, whose contribution established the new scholarship. Their gift adds to the community’s efforts to help students manage the costs associated with further education.

Scholarships can help students and families cover expenses related to tuition, books and other educational needs. For local programs such as KEYS, community donations play an important role in making those opportunities possible.

The new award also reflects the role that individuals and local organizations can play in supporting young people as they move from high school into the next stage of their lives. By creating additional scholarship opportunities, donors can help students pursue their goals while easing some of the financial pressure associated with continuing their education.

Students interested in applying should check with Kewaskum High School or KEYS for the scholarship’s eligibility criteria, application requirements and deadlines. Those details were not fully visible in the front-page image.
