As the Rotary Club’s largest annual fundraiser, Rock River Bierfest has become a cornerstone community event, drawing residents and visitors together for an evening of entertainment, social connection, and support for local improvement projects. Over the past decade, proceeds from the event have helped fund numerous initiatives throughout Mayville.
Funds raised through Bierfest have supported projects including the community kayak launch and storage shed, pickleball courts and benches, the Main Street music stage, and the city’s new ice rink. Rotary members said these investments reflect the organization’s mission to enhance quality of life and create accessible recreational opportunities for residents of all ages.
Attendees enjoyed a wide selection of beverages, food, and live entertainment, creating a festive atmosphere that highlighted the event’s growth since its early years. Organizers noted that community support has continued to increase, making the 10th anniversary a milestone worth celebrating.
Rotary leaders expressed appreciation for sponsors, volunteers, and attendees who have contributed to the success of Bierfest over the years. “This event is about more than fundraising,” members said. “It’s about bringing people together and reinvesting in the community we all share.”
With a decade of success behind it, the Rock River Bierfest continues to play a key role in supporting Rotary-led projects and strengthening community connections throughout Mayville.
