From the moment participants arrived, they were greeted by Western-inspired decorations featuring trains, cacti, horses, and rustic backdrops that set the tone for a week filled with learning and fun. The immersive theme helped bring Bible stories to life while creating an engaging environment that encouraged curiosity and participation.

Throughout the week, children rotated through stations that included Bible lessons, music, crafts, games, and snacks—all designed to reinforce daily themes in an age-appropriate and interactive way. Volunteers led activities that emphasized faith, friendship, and positive values, while keeping energy high and spirits lifted.

Church leaders said Vacation Bible School is an important outreach opportunity, offering families a welcoming space for children to learn, grow, and build connections within the church community. The Wonder Junction theme added an extra layer of excitement, making the experience memorable for both returning and first-time participants.

Dozens of volunteers contributed their time and creativity to make the program successful, from decorating and teaching to organizing activities and meals. Organizers expressed gratitude to everyone who helped bring the Old West adventure to life.

As the week wrapped up, children left with new friendships, lasting memories, and lessons rooted in faith—proof that Wonder Junction VBS delivered plenty of “rootin’ tootin’” fun for the Mayville community.
