Competing against a deep field at the annual early-season meet, the Cardinals showed depth and competitiveness across both varsity races. Strong pack running and steady pacing helped Mayville climb the team standings, signaling progress and preparation coming out of summer training.
On the boys’ side, Mayville runners worked together through the middle miles, closing strong to secure one of the program’s best team finishes at the invite in recent memory. The girls mirrored that effort, posting consistent times throughout the lineup and demonstrating improved depth that paid dividends in the overall results.
