The Lomira volleyball team faced a challenging stretch of conference action last week, pushing a match to five sets before coming up just short and later running into a strong Winnebago Lutheran Academy squad.

On Monday, Sept. 8, Lomira went the distance in a tightly contested matchup against Pardeeville. After trading momentum throughout the night, the match was decided in the fifth set, where Pardeeville pulled away late to secure the win.

Earlier in the week, on Thursday, Sept. 4, Lomira hosted Winnebago Lutheran Academy and was unable to gain traction against a disciplined opponent, falling in straight sets.
