Two key members of Lomira’s state championship football team will take the field one final time in Lions colors later this month, as Taylor Schaumberg and Sam Schraufnagel were selected to compete in the WFCA All-Star Game.

The all-star showcase is scheduled for July 19 at UW–Oshkosh, where Schaumberg and Schraufnagel will suit up for the South-Small team. The game brings together many of Wisconsin’s top senior football players, celebrating standout careers and recent championship success.

Both Schaumberg and Schraufnagel played integral roles in Lomira’s state title run, contributing to one of the most memorable seasons in program history. Their selection to the WFCA All-Star Game serves as recognition not only of individual performance, but also of the championship culture built within the Lomira football program.

Taking the field at UW–Oshkosh provides a fitting setting for the pair’s final high school appearance, allowing them to represent Lomira on a statewide stage while competing alongside elite talent from across Wisconsin.
