The Lomira girls cross country team delivered one of its most impressive performances of the season on Oct. 2, cruising to a first-place finish at the Terry Krall Invitational in Slinger.

Competing in the small division, the Lions posted an outstanding team score of 24 points, separating themselves from the rest of the field with dominant pack running and strong finishes throughout the lineup. Lomira runners established control early in the race and maintained their positioning to secure the team title in convincing fashion.

On the boys’ side, Lomira also turned in a solid effort, finishing seventh overall with 167 points. The boys competed well against a competitive field, gaining valuable experience as the postseason approaches.
