The board approved the appointment during a recent meeting, selecting Cassandra Hiller to serve as the village’s new administrator. Hiller brings experience in municipal government and will take on responsibilities involving village operations, staff coordination and implementation of board decisions.
The appointment comes as the village continues to manage a range of community services and administrative responsibilities. The village administrator plays an important role in overseeing day-to-day operations while working with elected officials, department staff and residents.
Hiller’s appointment follows the departure of the previous administrator and provides the village with new leadership as officials move forward with ongoing projects and municipal priorities.
Village administration is responsible for coordinating many of the services residents rely on, including budgeting, personnel matters, public works and communication between village departments and the Village Board.
Board members and village officials will work with Hiller during the transition as she becomes familiar with current projects, policies and community priorities.
The change in administration represents another step for Kewaskum as village officials continue working on municipal operations and planning for the community’s future.
Residents can expect the new administrator to become involved in the village’s regular governmental operations and ongoing discussions regarding local services and development.
