Immel Brings Pro-Level Experience to DockSpiders Rotation

Lomira graduate Dylan Immel is spending his summer on the mound in one of the nation’s premier collegiate leagues, pitching for the Fond du Lac DockSpiders during the 2025 season.

Immel’s path to the Northwoods League has been shaped by steady development and success at every level. After earning Flyway Conference Player of the Year honors during his senior season at Lomira, he continued his career at Century College in Minnesota, where he spent two years refining his skills against junior college competition.

From there, Immel took the next step by transferring to the University of Sioux Falls, competing at the Division II level in South Dakota. Over the past two seasons, he has gained valuable experience facing high-level hitters, helping prepare him for the fast pace and competitive environment of summer collegiate baseball.

Now with the DockSpiders, Immel is using that experience to make an impact on the mound. Pitching in the Northwoods League—widely regarded as a proving ground for future professional players—has allowed him to test his command, velocity, and composure against top collegiate talent from across the country.

Throughout the summer, Immel’s performances will be closely followed by local fans, as he represents Lomira while wearing a Fond du Lac uniform. His journey from conference standout to Division II contributor and now Northwoods League pitcher reflects both his dedication to the game and his continued growth as a player.
