Facing a full day of matches against a deep field, Horicon experienced its share of ups and downs but closed the tournament on a strong note. Both the boys’ and girls’ squads battled through early challenges, showing growth and determination as the day progressed.

As the meet unfolded, Horicon wrestlers began to find their rhythm, picking up key wins and gaining valuable mat time. Several athletes responded well after tough matches, bouncing back with improved technique and intensity in later rounds. Coaches pointed to that ability to adjust and compete late in the day as one of the event’s biggest positives.

The Early Bird Scramble provided an important measuring stick early in the season, allowing the Marshmen and Marshladies to test themselves against quality competition and identify areas for improvement moving forward.
