The foundation provided a $687 grant to fund CPR mannequin training equipment, made possible through generous community support. The mannequins will allow students to practice proper chest compressions and emergency response techniques in a realistic, classroom-based setting.

School officials said the equipment will enhance health and safety instruction by giving learners repeated, practical experience—an essential component of effective CPR training. The mannequins are expected to be used across multiple grade levels and programs, reinforcing emergency preparedness throughout the district.

Foundation leaders noted that supporting CPR education aligns with their mission to invest in student well-being and practical skills that extend beyond the classroom. “This grant helps ensure our schools are better prepared to respond in emergencies,” representatives said.

District administrators expressed appreciation for the partnership, adding that access to updated training tools strengthens instruction and increases confidence for students who may one day be called upon to act in a critical situation.

The Horicon Marshmen Foundation continues to provide grants and scholarships that support educational programs, safety initiatives, and enrichment opportunities for students across the district.
