Playing on the challenging par-72 layout, Hearley carded a round of 93 in a deep sectional field. While the score was not enough to advance to the state tournament, the appearance marked a significant achievement and capped a season that included consistent performances throughout the postseason.

Hearley battled through difficult pin placements and demanding conditions, showing composure and perseverance across all 18 holes. The sectional round represented one of the most competitive stages of the high school golf season, featuring top players from across the region.

Season Reflection

The sectional event brought Hearley’s senior season—and high school golf career—to a close. His progression to the sectional level underscored a year of dedication and steady improvement, while also providing leadership and experience for the Horicon program.

With Hearley graduating, Horicon golf will look to build on the foundation set this season as younger golfers gain experience and prepare to step into larger roles moving forward.
