Lomira set the tone early when Kennedy Goebel opened the scoring with a three-pointer. Horicon responded quickly behind Sarah Hodgson’s strong post finish and a triple from Emily Bunkoske, briefly taking a 5–3 lead. From there, Lomira settled in on both ends of the floor and began to assert control.
Christian took over offensively, scoring at all three levels and keeping constant pressure on the Marshladies’ defense. Her ability to attack the basket, knock down perimeter shots, and convert in transition helped Lomira build separation as the game progressed.
Defensively, Lomira tightened up after the opening minutes, limiting Horicon’s second-chance opportunities and forcing turnovers that led to easy points. The Lions’ balanced attack and pace wore down the Marshladies, allowing Lomira to extend the margin before halftime and continue pulling away in the second half.
