United Way Golf Outing Raises More Than $58,000 for Community

The annual event brought community members, business leaders and supporters together for a day on the course while raising funds for local initiatives. According to United Way representatives, the outing has become an important part of the organization’s fundraising efforts and continues to attract strong participation from the community.

This year’s event generated more than $58,000, surpassing the previous year’s total. Organizers noted that the continued support from local businesses, sponsors, golfers and volunteers helps United Way direct resources toward community programs and services.

The event also provided an opportunity for participants to spend time together outside of their regular work and community activities. While the golf outing offered a recreational afternoon, its primary purpose remained supporting organizations and programs that benefit people throughout the region.

United Way leaders expressed appreciation for everyone who contributed to the event, including golfers, sponsors and volunteers. The funds raised will help support the organization’s ongoing work and community-focused efforts.

With another successful outing completed, the event once again demonstrated how local participation can translate into financial support for community programs.
